home brewed: early review / by Garth Jones

“Imagine if your yard was made of bottles and you mowed it with the highest powered mower you could find. Glass shattering all over the place, loud as hell, you’re covered in cuts, and your ears are ringing. That’s sort of what reading a Garth Jones book is like and Vol. 1 of this serialized novel is no exception. I wrote that the sentences in Cheapa Skips practically leap from the page and beat your ass… or something like that. The ass beating I got from the sentences in here have made my memory not the best. Seriously, I’ve never read a writing style that felt as alive as Garth’s. Provided within are QR codes that link to the soundtrack done by Half Majesty; the tracks flesh out the experience that is this book. Personally, I’m going to be anxiously awaiting volumes 2&3 to see what insanity is in store for Edward Von Satan and the newly re-formed TÖXXIK SHÖKK. K thx.” – Damien Casey, Coffin Dodger
